Who Am I?

So, you're wondering who I am?

My name is Anthony and I'm an aerial & landscape photographer from Sydney, Australia.
I've been lucky enough to call myself a photographer for over 15 years and have been capturing little moments in time from all around the world.

As you can see from the site (and hopefully the photos!) I like to travel, and like to capture some not-so-common scenes & locations.
Showing the beauty of the world, while also making my audience examine and re-think about the images they're viewing.

I really enjoy trying to capture and show my audience something different.
Something unique.
Something to make people take a 2nd look and tilt their head....
Often ask "Wait... what is that?"

And with that, I've been exploding abstract aerial scenes from around Australia & New Zealand. Salt lakes, mining sites, glacial flows & outback Australia's truly unique and sometimes bizarre landscapes.
Often seeing these places from the ground you don't get the see the full picture (excuse the pun). From above, it opens a whole new world.

All my images were shot using traditional DSLR cameras and were shot from privately chartered fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Always taken with the door of the aircraft open or off to allow better visibility and to allow me full control over what I'm seeing and what I'm capturing while also giving my fine art prints the most detail possible from these incredible landscapes.

Not a drone. Not that I have anything against them.
I just find using a traditional camera gives me so many more options when photographing and editing the work. Plus some of these places are truly "off the beaten track" and sometimes only really accessible via aircraft.

If you have any questions or want any more info on how I shoot my images or anything else, please contact me via the Contact Page.

Most of all, enjoy the images as much as I've enjoyed capturing this incredible planet of ours.
