Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Anthony.

I am a fine art aerial and landscape photographer based in Perth, Australia. For over 15 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call photography my career, travelling the globe to capture moments in time that aren't easily found on a map.

While I have always loved traditional landscapes, my passion lies in the abstract. I am fascinated by the patterns of our planet—the textures of salt lakes, the vibrant colours of mining sites, and the icy pathways of glacial flows in New Zealand. My goal is to capture scenes that challenge the viewer. I want to present the world in a way that looks less like a photograph and more like a painting, inviting you to tilt your head, take a second look, and ask, "Wait... what is that?"

To capture these images, I take a strictly "hands-on" approach. I don’t use drones.
Instead, I shoot exclusively from privately chartered fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, often hanging out of an open door or shooting through an open window.

Why do I do it this way? Aside from the thrill of the flight, using traditional handheld DSLR cameras gives me total creative control. It allows me to use specific lenses to compress the landscape, react instantly to changing light, and capture files with incredible dynamic range.

This method allows me to access remote locations truly "off the beaten track"—places that are often only accessible by air. The result is a collection of images with exceptional resolution, allowing for large-scale fine art prints that retain every grain of detail.

If you have questions about my process, the aircraft I use, or a specific print you are interested in, please head over to the Contact Page.

Most of all, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed the adventure of capturing them.

FAQ

Are these drone photographs?

Nope! All images in the Aerial Collection are captured using high-resolution DSLR cameras from full-sized, piloted aircraft (helicopters or fixed-wing planes).
While drones are fantastic tools, shooting handheld from an aircraft allows for higher-quality sensors, better lens optics, and higher-resolution files. This means the print you receive will have amazing detail and sharpness, especially at larger sizes.

What paper do you print on?

Each image is printed on Canson Rag Photographique fine art paper using a fully calibrated 10-ink Epson Stylus Pro printer in a professional photo lab.
The Canson Photo Rag paper offers a unique smooth surface with an exceptional black density and produces rich, vibrant colours.
When treated with care, these prints are rated to last a lifetime without fading.

Do you sell Limited Edition prints?

Yes. Almost all my prints available online are Limited Edition fine art prints. These come signed and numbered and are individually inspected by myself before shipping to ensure the highest quality.

Can I order a custom size?

Absolutely. Because I shoot with high-resolution cameras, many of my images can be printed much larger than the standard sizes listed on the website. If you have a specific wall space to fill, please Get in touch with the dimensions, and I can provide a quote.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I ship worldwide.

For Australian orders: Prints can be shipped either rolled in a tube or framed (depending on your location).

For International orders: To ensure the safety of the artwork and keep shipping costs reasonable, international orders are shipped as rolled prints in a heavy-duty tube. This allows you to take the print to your local framer to choose a frame that perfectly matches your decor.
