This aerial photograph was taken from a fixed wing plane over New Zealand.

Lake Tekapo is at the foot of Mount Cook in the South Island. With many glaciers and almost year-round snow capped mountains, the fast-flowing water from the glaciers comes down into Lake Tekapo and brings with it a huge amount of sediment which creates vibrant colours and intricate patterns. The vibrant blues and braided rivers create a perfect fine art landscape to photograph which can only be appreciated from above.
